It's a clever design ! This adaptor converts any Xbox360 Fat power supply to use with Xbox360 slim consoles. Usage is easy, simply plug it into the output plug of the old Xbox360 power supply. Old fat power supplies with 203W, 175W and 150W power ratings are all supported. 
 
Many poeple have a Fat Xbox360 and also bought a Xbox360 slim as a second or replacement unit or if you wish to move the Slim Xbox from one room to antoher, you can just move the Xbox only when you have this adaptor handy.
