2 types of laser cables for PS4 pro consoles. Type A cable is for PS4 Pro model CUH-7002 and CUH-7102 consoles. Type B is for PS4 pro console CUH-7202 only.
Some times disc drive reading issue persists even if a new laser has been replaced. The culprit could be the flex cable that connects between the laser to motherboard.
These are the third part laser cables for PS4 pro units, they work well for the PS4 pro disc drives as we have tested.
Caution: Make no mistake when choosing a right cable. If the Type A cable was used in place of Type B or vice versa, the SMD fuse F6201 on motherboard would be blown up.
